RIVER ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

As of Friday August 22, the Sewer Separation Project is approximately 2/3 completed with the most difficult work accomplished during the first two quarters. The new culvert within the Edgewater Colony as well as all of the inlets from River Road into the culvert, and most piping on the side streets has been installed. The remaining work will be the installation of the River Road piping south from Palisade Terrace to Route 5. The most difficult traffic issue will be when the installation occurs at the intersection of River Road and Route 5. The electronic message boards on River Road will be programmed approximately a week before this work commences as well as our website will be updated at www.edgwaternj.org.
